Red Bull Hardline, known for pushing the limits of downhill mountain biking, is set to return to Tasmania, Australia, in 2026 for its third consecutive year. This thrilling event, recognized as the toughest and most progressive downhill race worldwide, continues to captivate audiences since its inception in the Welsh hills in 2014.
The race gathers the world's fastest racers and bravest freeriders, challenging them against each other and the formidable downhill track. The Australian edition takes place at Maydena Bike Park in Tasmania's Derwent Valley, west of Hobart. Designed by Dirt Art, the park boasts over 100 km of trails, featuring technical jump and freeride lines.
In the 2025 final, riders navigated the challenging Tasmanian terrain. Canadian athletes Jackson Goldstone and Gracey Hemstreet claimed victories in the male and female categories, respectively. Goldstone narrowly defeated Asa Vermette, while local favorite Troy Brosnan finished third. Hemstreet secured her title as the reigning queen of Hardline with a dominant performance.

Course designer Simon French expresses enthusiasm about the Maydena Bike Park, noting its perfect setting for the Red Bull Hardline. The course features diverse forest types and terrain, promising exciting challenges with new sections and an extended track.
